Biography
Kendal Zylstra is a graduate of Dordt University, earning degrees in Accounting and Business Administration, and a minor in Economics. At Dordt, Kendal graduated magna cum laude and was recognized as the Accounting, Business, and Economics Student of the Year his senior year. Kendal also served as Student Body President, the Men’s Basketball Manager, and led several committees and organizations.
After Dordt, Kendal attended Drake University Law School, graduating with high honors. At Drake, Kendal was actively involved in trial advocacy programs that were consistently ranked among the best in the country. Kendal was elected to The National Order of the Barristers for his courtroom advocacy. Additionally, Kendal was the Articles Editor for the Drake Law Review.
While in law school, Kendal worked in all three branches of government, including as an intern to a Judge on the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also had extensive experience as a law clerk, including at Carmoney Law Firm, PLLC.
Kendal’s practice encompasses a wide array of litigation, including personal injury cases, motor vehicle claims, construction cases, and appellate work. Kendal is licensed to practice law in Iowa, and in both federal districts in Iowa.
